Final Thoughts
–I LOVE the volume it gives my lashes.
–No flaking or smudging all day which is important to me
–I got this half off during Ulta 21 Days of Beauty. It is definitely $12.50 good, but I don’t know that I’d pay full price for it. It reminds me of the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara which is much cheaper.

–Affordable

–No flaking
–No smudging

Cons
–Hard to find
–No waterproof option

Settings
#1: Natural–good separation and length
#2: Enhance–more volume, good separation and length
#3: Boost–clumpy, lease fav setting
#4: Max Volume–Most dramatic; wand took some getting used to; long, thick, & full lashes

Final Thoughts
I’m not sure where to find Jesses Girl products now that Rite Aids are closing. Obviously, it’s available online, but I don’t know what other stores carry that line. The Rite Aid near me closed so I grabbed this 70% off. I definitely thought this was a gimmicky product, but it really works! I love that it’s a 4-in-1 product for such an affordable price. I tried all 4 settings and had no flaking or smudging on any setting. This isn’t waterproof and there isn’t a waterproof option, but I laughed till I cried while wearing this and it didn’t budge.

I used my Lancome Lash Curler and the LOreal Mascara Primer each day that I tested.

Note, this has a natural bristle brush so if you prefer plastic bristles, this definitely is not for you. I used with my LOreal Mascara Primer like I usually do. This mascara made my lashes look BOMB. I got length, separation, and volume with no clumping or flaking. Not much more you can ask from a mascara!

Mascara Monday: LOreal Lash Paradise Primer

Claims
–Thickens lashes
–Helps enhance mascara wear

Price
–$9.99 @ Ulta
–$8.99 @ Target
–$9.99 @ Walgreens

Shade Range
–1, Millennial Pink

Pros
–Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact wearers
–Affordable
–Pretty packaging

Cons
–Not cruelty free

Final Verdict
I initially used this with the LOreal Lash Paradise mascara and didn’t notice much difference. The shade is “Millennial Pink,” but it just looked like any other white mascara primer. I don’t love this as much the LOreal Voluminous Mascara Primer. I think this works better with mascaras other than the Lash Paradise. Do I like it? Yes. Would I repurchase it? No. The white primer is much better!

Mascara Monday: LOreal Lash Paradise

Claims
–Lashes are feathery soft to the touch
–Voluptuous volume and length
–200+ bristles catch every lash

Price
–$9.99 @ Ulta
–$8.99 @ Target
–$9.99 @ Walgreens
–$8.97 @ Wal Mart

Shade Range
–4
–2 in waterproof formula

Pros
–Affordable
–Accessible
–Pretty packaging
–Easy to remove
–No flaking
–No smudging
–Lots of volume

Cons
–Not cruelty free
–A little clumpy
–Lashes felt crunchy
–Tube/formula dries up quickly

Final Verdict
This is a drier formula and I prefer a more wet formula so this was an issue right from the start. I like the volume it gave, but it got a little clumpy. I don’t like how quickly this dries out, you can’t use a tube for very long so you’ll constantly have to repurchase. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. I will use it, but I won’t repurchase it. This mascara has a huge following and so many people RAVE about it, but it’s just meh to me.

I liked this mascara MUCH better wtih the white LOreal Voluminous Primer. I had little to no clumping and had longer, more separated lashes.

–Dark, defined lashes
–Tease clumpy lashes away
–Boost volume & define shape
–Separation

–Affordable
–Cute packaging
–Waterproof option
–Lengthens
–Separates
–No smudging or flaking
–Love the little comb at the end

Cons
–Not cruelty free
–Not very voluminous

Final Verdict
–This does a great job of lengthening and separating, but doesn’t give much volume.
–The weird comb on the end allows you to coat each lash.
–I didn’t think I would like this because the wand is so different, but I was really surprised.
–This is a plastic bristle wand so if you prefer natural bristles, this isn’t for you!
–It’s easy to walk by because it looks different than other mascara, but I recommend giving it a try.

Mascara Monday: CoverGirl Lash Blast Amplify Primer

Claims
–Maximize the result of your favorite mascara
–Lash length and volume from root to tip

Price
–$9.49 at Ulta
–$6.99 at Target
–$6.24 at Wal Mart

Pros
–Affordable
–Easily accessible

Cons
–Not cruelty free
–Doesn’t show up on lashes so you can’t see where you’ve applied it

Final Verdict
I HATE this primer. It’s rare that I hate a product, but this is so terrible. It did nothing for my lashes and it doesn’t show up white, even though it looks like it would. It applies clear so you can’t see where you’ve applied it. I knew my LOreal would be hard to be beat, but I wanted to give this a try. I’ll be sticking with the LOreal!
