Y’all know Oprah does her famous “Favorite Things” release every year and since I’m so like I Oprah, I decided to follow suit.
Spoiler Alert: No one is getting a car.
Beauty, Skincare, Hair, Etc.
- NARS Afterglow Lip Balms in Orgasm & Hidden Pleasure
- Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow
- I am not a gloss girl, but after hearing rave reviews about this formula, I picked it up to try. I. LOVE. IT. It isn’t sticky, adds just the right amount of color, and smells divine.
- Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk
- I rarely opt for a nude lip color, I prefer a bold look, but I haven’t stopped wearing this one. I love the formula and it’s the perfect pinky nude for my porcelain skin. Every year, I buy myself a luxury lipstick for my birthday and this was this years pick. It is pricey but 100% worth it. Once this one is used up, I will buy another one. I can’t be without it.
- Coty Airspun Powder
- My friend, Maggy, reintroduced me to this product. I used it years ago, but my skin was oily at the time. I hadn’t tried it since my skin became more dry. The scent is strong, but it’s so cheap and doesn’t accentuate dry skin or make my makeup look cakey. In fact, I get a flawless, blurred look when I use this powder.
- It’s A 10 Miracle Blow Dry Balm
- I don’t know crap about hair or hair products. I wash my hair once a week, straighten it, and use dry shampoo–that is the extent of my hair knowledge. My hair stylist used this in my hair and I immediately purchased because I was obsessed with the scent. It smells DIVINE. It also makes my hair more shiny and silky.
- Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Antiperspirant
- I don’t who the freak I think I am using a $29 deodorant, but here I am. My BFF uses this and convinced me to try it. Now I’m hooked. I don’t really wear perfume, I never remember to put it on, but this has a perfume scent that lingers. I am a sweater, TMI sorry, and was concerned about the antiperspirant aspect but it 100% works. I bought a back up during the Sephora sale.
- PUR 4-in-1 Love Your Selfie Foundation
- I’ve tried over 40 foundations this year and this is the best one. You can read the full review here. Short version–it’s full coverage in one layer, doesn’t cling to dryness, doesn’t cake up when set with powder, gives a flawless finish.
- Bath & Body Works Sleep & Focus Aromatherapy Lines
- I’m not here to say these products help me sleep or focus any better, but they smell good and I like them.
- Tree Hut Shave Prep Sugar Scrub
- I don’t think I necessarily get a closer, better shave because of this, but I like to think I do. It’s a great exfoliator and really gets the job done.
- Tree Hut Moisturizing Shave Oil
- I love this so much more than regular shaving cream or gel. It’s more moisturizing and makes your legs silky smooth.
- Frigidaire Portable Mini Fridge
- Getting a skincare refrigerator has been a game changer. Using cold products just wakes my skin up and refreshes it so much.
- Essence Micro-Brow Pencil
- This brow pencil is $2.99 and A.MAZ.ING. Essence was on sale at Ulta recently and this pencil was marked down to $1.79 so I bought 8. It’s super creamy without being too emollient and since the pencil is so small, it’s easy to mimic brow hairs.
- Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
- I used an entire jar of this this year and immediately bought another one because I couldn’t be without it. It’s just the best lip product in the history of ever. I always have dry, flaky lips and this has made such a difference. I put on a hefty layer at night and when I wake up in the morning so of it is still on and my lips feel so smooth and hydrated.
- Caboodles Acrylic Cosmetics Counter Tray
- I use this for my monthly makeup. It holds a lot of products and doesnt take up too much space on my bathroom counter.
- Kopari Coconut Rose Toner
- I got this half off during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty, but I would pay full price for this toner. It smells AMAZING and it’s so refreshing. A lot of toners have alcohol as a primary ingredient and can be extremely drying. This one is just the opposite.
- Lash Lift
- I wrote all about it in this post, but my lashes have never looked better and this another expensive habit I picked up this year.
- It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Moisturizer
- I got this half off during the 21 Days of Beauty and I really like it. It’s moisturizing enough without being too much and I really feel like it helped tone down my redness. I recently finished it up and haven’t repurchased because $48 for moisturizer is no joke. I would buy it again if I could get it half off, but I don’t think it made enough of a difference for me to buy it at full price.
- Slip Small Slipsilk Scrunchies
- These were an impulse purchase at the checkout at Sephora, but they are easily my favorite hair binding apparatus. My hair is heavy and not just any rubber band will hold it. This one does the job and leaves minimal creasing.
Fashion
- HRH Sweatshirt
- I am royal and needed this. The end.
- Budha Girl All Weather Bangles
- These bangles are EVERYTHING. They don’t clang or jingle, are waterproof, and weightless. I got a set of 3 gold ones for $40. Since then, I’ve gotten 2 silver ones that were purchased for $12 each. The price just depends on where you get them and now there are lots of dupes available.
- I Love Jewelry Monogram Gabby Tweed Handbag
- It’s pink and as a monogram.
- Karen Walker Super Lunar Sunglasses
- I’ve wanted the Karen Walker Super Duper sunnies for FOREVER, but I’m not really a fan of spending $250 on sunnies. Haute Look had this pair for $80 and I could not add to my cart fast enough. I love them and they are worth $80, but I couldn’t justify $250 on sunglasses. The quality is great and I love the shape.
- Kendra Scott Ellie Earrings
- I pretty much wear black every day so these go with almost everything in my wardrobe. Sadly, I no longer have them. I took them out and put them in my purse when I got my hair done and somehow they fell out of my purse and I ran over them. Good times.
- Lane Bryant Wicking Active Leggings
- I like leggings that have a wide band, don’t roll down, and fit well. Easy enough, but hard to find. These are the perfect pair. I own 4 pairs and I want more.
- Ava & Viv Jeggings
- I don’t do any kind of pants/bottoms with buttons. Elastic waist bands for life. These are the best jeggings. I’ve washed them several times and they’ve held up really well. Of course, they’re unavailable on Target’s website.
- Tefeca Apple Watch Band
- When I first got my Apple watch, I only liked the silicone bands and I changed them all the time. Ever since I got this band, I haven’t changed it and I don’t love the silicone ones as much.
- Barrington Gifts Kent Keyring Wallet
- I get my license, debit card, and credit card in here and keep the rest of my stuff in my wallet. This is easy to grab when I just needed run in a store quickly or need quick access to my card in the drive thru. I have the matching purse and I love it. I want one of everything in this pattern.
- Diff Eyewear Blue Light Blocking Glasses in Winston
- I started wearing blue light glasses this year and I can tell such a difference. I can’t not wear them now. I work on a computer all day and spend time on the computer when I get home working on my blog. My eyes don’t hurt and aren’t as tired at the end of the day.
- Glitter Sneakers from Old Navy
- It it has gold glitter on it, I need it. The end.
- Heart Sunnies
- I loved the heart sunglasses trend, but again, I’m not dropping major $$$ on trendy sunnies. These $10 dupes do the job and beat the hell out of the $420 Saint Laurent sunnies.
Home & Misc
- Amazon Beckham Hotel Collection Gel Pillow (2 pack)
- I have allergies so I have to sleep on a certain kind of pillow and they tend to wear out fast. These had great reviews and were on sale for Prime Day so I grabbed them to try and I love them.
- Bath & Body Works Aromatheraphy Lavender Cedarwood Pillow Mist

- Open, Gold Shelves
- I wanted to change up the decor over my desk, but I really wasn’t looking to spend a whole lot. I found these shelves at TJ Maxx and I love them. I can change things in and out as I want to and they’re perfect for displaying some of my collector makeup.
- Bottle Bright Cleaning Tablets
- I love the aluminum/Yeti type cups and water bottles but they can stain easily. These tablets clean them right up and make them look brand new.
- Pet Gear Travel Lite Pet Stroller
- I want Windsor to go everywhere with me so I bought this. He is unsure of it/
- New Living Translation Bible
- I’ve had an NIV Bible for a long time. I discovered this version this year and I really like it. It’s very easy to read and follow.

- Podcasts
- I’m late to the Podcast game. I just started listening this year and I am hooked.
- Bang Energy Drinks
- I still love my white Monsters, but I’ve enjoyed trying all the different flavors that Bang has.
- Loopy Phone Case
- I normally get cheap phone cases from Amazon or TJ Maxx so paying the price for this one kind of hurt my feelings, but it so worth it.
- Soda Sok
- I can’t stand when cups sweat and make a mess, problem solved.
- Crayola Gel Pens
- I am Crayola loyal when it comes to crayons so when I saw they had pens, I had to have them. I love all the colors and the write really well.
- Swingline High Heel Stapler
- I’m extra so I needed this.
- Scentsy Glitter Warmer
- I didn’t know much about Scentsy, but a friend of mine starting selling it and now I’m hooked. Of course I opted for the glitter warmer, but there are so many choose from and I think this better than burning candles.
