Pros
–Both :: Affordable, cruelty free, vegan, more than standard 1.0 oz of product, alcohol free
–HD :: Full coverage, easy to blend, long lasting
–BB :: Hydration, shade match for me, lightweight
–Mixed :: Hydration, flawless base, mix helps HD foundation work so much better for my skin, long lasting, easy to blend

Cons
–Both :: Shade range, accessibility (online or Ulta only)
–HD :: Messy packaging, too matte for my dry skin, no shade match
–BB :: Claims natural coverage, but there’s hardly any
–Mixed :: 002+005 is still too dark and I had to use white mixer

Final Thoughts
–I don’t love either product on its own so I thought mixing them might make them work better for my skin and skin type
–Shade range for both is terrible. Catrice REALLY needs to work on that.
–BB creams typically offer lighter coverage, but this one essentially offered none
–I love the coverage of the HD, but it’s too matte and drying on my skin
–I was hoping mixing the two would give me hydration, fuller coverage, and staying powder.
–The combo did add hydration, but only gave high medium coverage
–I didn’t love the combination. It was still too dark and it got cakey in some areas.
–Unfortunately, these are both a pass for me
