My Opinion
I think it’s clear that I like Maybelline. I’ve been using their products since I first started wearing makeup. Their offerings are affordable and easily accessible so it’s easy for me to buy and try everything. The Matte + Poreless foundation is the best foundation at the drugstore, regardless of skin type. I have dry skin, but I don’t like the Dewy + Smooth. I wore Matte + Poreless religiously for years and it’s still one of my favorite formulas. The Fit Me Loose Setting Powder is a dupe for the famed Laura Mercier Translucent Powder for a fraction of the cost. The shade range for the Matte + Poreless is awesome but some of their other complexion products need more shades.  I like their cream shadows and single powder shadows, but their palettes are awful. My two favorite product categories from Maybelline are mascara and lips. The Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks have been a Godsend over the past year or so that we’ve been wearing masks. It’s one of the few mask friendly formulas. I love so many of their mascaras and somehow they continue to create new ones that are better than the last.
