My Opinion
elf has come such a long way for their original $1 product offerings. It’s taken them a while, but they’re finally getting it right. Their launches over the past year or so have really hit the spot. For the longest time, they’ve had one foundation and it was only ok. They recently released their CC Cream and it is bomb. I still think they need more than 2 foundation options. Their Camo line of products are all really good. Until recently, their mascaras were all awful, but I am OBSESSED with the Lash It Loud mascara. They have a great liquid and powder eye shadow formula. Also, don’t sleep on their skincare line. They have some really good products and of course, they’re affordable. I think their lip products are really underrated. I hear people talk about their glosses, but I love their bullet lipsticks and their liquid lipsticks. I like the Halo Glow Settting Powder, but they don’t have a setting powder that I LOVE. The Putty line is another popular product line. I do not like the putty primers, they make my makeup cake and break up, but I love the Putty Blushes. I really hope to see some putty bronzers and highlighters. I love their Bite-Size eye shadows, but I do not like the Bite-Size Face Duos. I definitely think there is room for improvement when it comes to their blush, bronzer, and highlighter offerings. I love buying and trying their new releases. Nine times out of ten, I’m impressed. elf does budget friendly products and they do it well.
