Pros–Mini size for travel and testing :: non-comedogenic :: shade options & universal translucent :: no flashback :: finely milled :: worked on my dry skin

Cons–Expensive :: big, bulky packaging :: AWFUL under the eyes

Thoughts–I found this at TJ Maxx for $12.99 :: do not like the large, bulky packaging :: used with a primer, foundation, and setting spray that I love and know how they work and found it to be a little cakey around my mouth and nose :: it looked HORRIBLE under my eyes but worked fine on the rest of my face.

Pros–Sleek, squeeze packaging :: smooths the skin for makeup application :: creates a flawless canvas

Cons–Thick, slick, silicone feel :: didn’t blur pores

Thoughts–Found at TJ Maxx for $6.99 :: glad I got a deal on this because I don’t like it :: it’s too thick and silicone like for me

Cruelty free–Status is unclear

Pros–Water-based :: silicone free :: smoothed for makeup to apply seamlessly over top :: blurred pores

Cons–Expensive :: cruelty free status unclear

Thoughts–I got a deluxe size sample with an Ulta order :: LOVE that it is more like a lotion instead of slick, slippery, silicone :: blurred pores :: gave an awesome, smooth “canvas” for makeup application :: I will primarily use in targeted areas, but I can see myself buying the full size when I finish up this sample :: definitely one of the best pore minimizing/blurring primers I’ve tried

Pros–Shade range :: finely milled :: glow without glitter :: great for dry skin :: didn’t cake

Cons–Online only :: expensive for the amount of product that you get

Thoughts–LOVE :: expensive for the amount of product you get and I would run out quickly if I used it every day :: the formula is unlike anything else I’ve ever tried :: gorgeous sheen/glow but not glittery or reflective :: great for dry skin or those who have trouble finding a powder taht doesn’t cake or cling

Essence The Blush

Price–$2.99 at Ulta

Shade Range–4
My Shade–Befitting

Cruelty Free–Yes and vegan

Pros–Contains hyaluronic acid :: talc-free :: shade range

Cons–Expensive :: fussy packaging :: doesn’t blur pores :: don’t agree with all claims

Thoughts–Packaging is innovative & supposed to be less of a mess, but I think it’s fussy :: it was hard to get the product on the brush or sponge :: caked on my upper lip :: makeup didn’t last all day like it usually does :: major fail
