Final Thoughts
Day 1–Emphasized pores :: broke up :: caked up :: over all HOT MESS :: covered pretty well, but could still some redness and imperfections peeking through :: easy to blend :: two layers is solid, medium coverage
Day 1 Primers—Hard Candy Primer Mist, CYO+Pretty Fresh, Revlon Pore Reducing
Day 1 Powder—Fenty Pro Filt’r in Butter
Day 1 Setting Sprays—Milani Make It Dewy + Urban Decay All Nighter
Day 2–MUCH BETTER :: same, medium coverage :: didn’t break up or separate :: lasted much longer
Day 2 Primers—Essence Hydra Spray, CYO+Pretty Fresh
Day 2 Powder—Smashbox Halo Fresh
Day 2 Setting Sprays—Milani Make It Dewy + Urban Decay All Nighter
I got a sample of this at Sephora and I am glad I didn’t buy it. Two layers will give you solid medium coverage and it’s very easy to blend. It was very lightweight on the skin. The first day, I used all my usual products–primer, powder, and setting sprays. I know how all of these products work and they work with other foundations. Since my face was a DISASTER at the end of the day, I know it’s the foundation. On the second day, I tried a more glowy, hydrating powder and didn’t use my pore filling primer and it looked so much better. It looked and wore like every other foundation. I’m giving this a MEH because I can make it work and I don’t think it’s a bad product. You just have to find the right primer and powder combination to make it work.
The pictures are from the first day. I didn’t take pics on the second day because I’m lazy and I forgot.
