February Favorites

  • Makeup Tray
    • If you saw my February Makeup Tray post, you saw that I got a new makeup tray. The other one was just too small and this holds everything! I don’t have separate containers for makeup, lip liners, and brushes anymore, this tray holds them all. I wish I could link it, but I got it at TJ Maxx and I don’t remember the brand.
  • Tati Beauty Blendiful
    • When Tati released this, I wasn’t sold. I started watching reviews on YouTube and decided I needed to give it a try. I still love applying products with brushes and sponges, but this is a really unique tool that works really well. You can use the same sponge, the larger gray one, for all of your complexion products. I don’t want to use powders and creams on the same sponge so I bought two. That’s how much I love this product.
  • Nail Holder
    • I wear press on nails almost always because they’re cheap, easy, and they work. I’m too much of a perfectionist to get my nails done. No one does them just like I like, so I just do them myself. My friend gave me the idea to pre-paint them. I found these nail holders on Amazon and they are a GAME CHANGER. I’ve pre-painted several sets so whenever I want a new shade, I just have to glue and go.
  • elf Halo Glow Setting Powder in Light
    • If you have dry skin and struggle to find a setting powder that won’t make you look like a dry and cakey mess, this is it. I know a lot of people with dry skin don’t use powder, but I can’t not set my makeup with a powder. I need that powder to lock my liquid foundation in place. This powder is EVERYTHING and it is $8. If you’re extremely oily, this might not be for you, but I think it would work for combo skin as well.
  • NYX Suede Lip Liner in Munchies + Bite Beauty Lipstick in Thistle
    • This cool tone brown combo is stunning. It’s not a shade I normally gravitate towards, but I’ve really been loving it.
  • elf Camo Concealer Sponge
    • I’ve gone back to using a brush for foundation, but I still use a sponge for my concealer. This one is PERFECT. It’s the perfect size and the two pointed ends allow you to use one to blend out concealer and one to apply powder with it. Clearly, elf is marketing it to be used with their Camo concealers, but it works fine with other concealers too.
  • Lo & Sons OMG Bag
    • My friend, Meghan, shared this bag on her Instagram and after some clicking through, I decided I needed it. I am always here for the bags that provide lots of pockets for organization. Then I saw the price tag and hit the brakes. I turned to Poshmark and found one for a deal. I love it! It’s a super lightweight bag that holds so much and has a place for everything. I have the medium OMG which is no longer available, now they have the O.G. 2, but there are lots of them on Poshmark if you’re interested.

  • Room Updates (European shams, weighted blanket, nighstand)—
    • I made a couple of updates to my room this month. My cousin made me some European pillow shams to match my bed skirt, accent pillow, and cornice board. The night stand I had was a cheapo from Target that I built myself and was barely standing. If you touched it, it rocked back and forth. It was time for an upgrade and I found this one at Home Goods and it fits perfectly and isn’t as bulky as the one I had. It really opened the space next to my bed. I also got a weighted blanket. I don’t know that it helps with anxiety, but I FREAKING LOVE IT. They are stupid expensive, but I found this one on Zulily for less than $40 and the pink matches my room perfectly. It is so warm and cozy and feels like a warm hug. I don’t like personal contact, so it’s an actual dream.
    • Of course, Windsor makes everything look cuter and more pulled together.
