Final Thoughts
I loved the foundation and was hoping the concealer would be just as good and it is! The shade range is impressive and there is a shade light enough for me as a skin tone match and to use as a brightening shade. I prefer a brighter under eye so I went with J24. If I wanted to use this for spot concealing, I would go up a shade. Like the foundation, it gives a blurred, smoothed finished. It was very easy to blend and sets so nicely with powder. You can’t beat the coverage or the price. This is definitely worth checking out and a product I am glad to have in my collection.

–Gently styled, separated lashes
–Squeeze the tube to soften the formula and coat the brush

Price
–$29.50

Shade Range

Pros
–Innovative packaging
–Shade range
–Lengthened
–Separated
–No flaking or smudging
–Lashes held a curl

Cons
–Expensive
–No waterproof option
–Not much volume

Final Thoughts
If you don’t like plastic, spikey wands this is not the mascara for you. I liked this, but you can get the same look with other, cheaper mascaras. I don’t have much to say on it, honestly. It did everything I want a mascara to do, but it’s THIRTY freaking dollars. If I’m spending that much on mascara, I want to be wowed. It’s good and if you feel like treating yourself, go for it!

–High medium, low full coverage
–Packaging, pump!

Cons
–Shade range
–Availability
–Color tone is off for me
–Wore off on my chin even when set with powder
–Didn’t look or sit right on my skin

Final Thoughts
I ordered mine online because my Walgreens doesn’t carry it. The color is very gray and off for my complexion. It’s a super dewy and I like the healthy look, but I had to set it with powder. The Maybelline powder foundation didn’t help it stay on my chin and it does with other foundations. I can’t pinpoint one thing that makes me like or dislike it, it just didn’t sit well on my skin.

–Full coverage
–Under eye area looked soft, smooth, and blurred

Cons
–Availability :: Ulta or online, not all shades available at Ulta

Final Thoughts
My perfect shade in the Makeup Revolution line is 0.5, but Ulta didn’t have this shade available so I went with C0.2. This shade was a little more yellow, but it worked and brightened up the under eye area. It was super easy to blend and I loved that I didn’t have to dip in multiple times. My under eye area looked like it had a filter on it, it was so smooth and blurred. If I wanted a shade to spot conceal, I would definitely need C0.5, but C0.2 works for a bright under eye which I prefer. I love and recommend this 100%. A foundation was released with this concealer and I’ve been testing it as well. That review will be up Friday so be sure to come back!

Final Thoughts
You really have to work to get anything out of this mascara. I had to do several layers to get even some volume and even then, I still wasn’t impressed. It’s not the worst mascara I’ve tried, but it’s not even worth the $3 it costs. Skip this one!

–Hard to access :: Sephora exclusive, but not at all Sephora stores

Final Thoughts
Meghan Markle wore this on her wedding day so naturally I had to try it. However, none of the Sephora stores near me carried it so it took me forever to get a sample of it. You can definitely building this up to medium coverage, but you are not going to get full coverage with this one. There is a strong fragrance, but it doesn’t linger. It has a very liquid-y, runny consistency so be careful when you pour it. I needed extra coverage on my chin so I added some Makeup Revolution Conceal + Define Foundation in F0.5. This is a good foundation, but I wouldn’t buy the full size, I prefer full coverage.

September Makeup Tray

Sept Makeup Tray

August Review/Declutter

  • Maybelline Under Eye Concealer
    • Shade works, but I prefer a lighter concealer for the under eye area and I have the lightest shade.
    • Review here
  • Catrice 1 Minute Face Perfector
    • Smoothed all over, but didn’t really fill in my pores
  • Pixi Corrector
    • I got annoyed having to use a brush so I went back to my favorite corrector that’s quick and easy
  • Catrice Mascara Primer
    • Not bad, but I prefer the LOreal
  • Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Light Bronze
    • I haven’t used this in a while and I don’t remember it being SO pigmented.
    • I prefer a bronzer that’s more buildable and this one is just a little too BAM right off the bat
  • Urban Decay Highlighter in Sin
    • Such a pretty highlight, but I prefer the Juvia’s Place
  • Urban Decay Blush in Fetish
    • This used to be one of my favorite blushes and it would last ALL DAY.
    • I used it over the course of the month and I could barely get it to show up on my skin
  • Maybelline Dewy + Smooth Foundation
    • I liked this, but my foundation collection is growing and I’m running out of room. This one is so cheap that if I miss it, I can easily repurchase
    • Review coming soon
  • Too Faced Peach Blur Powder
    • This is a nice finishing powder, but I bought it to help blur and I didn’t see much of a difference there.

When I test a new product, I try to keep the other variables the same and use products that I already know how they work.

  • New foundation= First Aid Beauty Primer & Catrice Powder
  • New primer= NYX Born To Glow Foundation & Catrice or Becca Powder
  • New concealer= NYX Born To Glow Foundation, Maybelline Corrector, & Fenty Lavender Powder
