Boxycharm Review :: January, February, & March

I started getting Boxycharm in November of 2018. I mainly do unboxings and reviews on my Insta Stories, but I’ve decided to do quarterly check ins here. Boxycharm is a monthly subscription box that is $21. I’ve tried TONS of different subscription services and this is definitely my favorite.

  • Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Sheet Mask (2), $24
    • Cruelty free
    • Felt good on the skin
    • Left skin hydrated, soft, and dewy
    • Get the same results from Neutrogena Hydro Boost Sheet Masks and they are $3
    • Enjoyed using these, but I wouldn’t purchase on my own
  • Briogeo Rosarco Milk Leave-In-Conditioning Spray, $12
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • I love leave-in sprays like this because I only wash my hair once a week. I use regular conditioner sparingly because it can easily weigh my hair down.
    • There are similar, cheaper products that do the same thing
    • I use it and enjoy it, but I wouldn’t pay full price and purchase on my own.
  • Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Havana Nights, $20
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • I tried an Ofra liquid lip a long time ago and didn’t love it, but they revamped packaging and maybe the formula?
    • LOVE the color and formula
    • Would buy more shades on my own
  • Tarte Rainforest of Sea Volume III Palette, $36
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • LOVE
    • Perfect, natural palette for an every day look
  • Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil, $18
    • Cruelty free
    • I have an IRL Boxy friend and we swap products from our boxes. She wanted this and I didn’t have any interest in trying this, so I sent it to her.
    • Love that it had a spoolie though!

Total Value– $110

  • Cover Fx Perfector Face Palette in Light/Medium, $45
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • Cover Fx is a high end, pricey brand so I’m always glad to see a Cover Fx product in the box
    • Talc-free formula
    • Not all shades work for me in their suggested use capacity, i.e. the highlighter is too dark, but I use it as a blush topper over a matte blush, but I’ve found ways to make all the colors work for me.
    • Pigmented, easy to blend
    • Love the simplicity of everything in one palette
    • I would not have paid $45 for this on my own, but I’m glad I have it.
  • Wander Beauty Lift Off Purifying & Brightening Peel Off Mask, $34
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • I’m saving this for a giveaway!
  • Moda Brushes Powder & Soft Glow Kit, $29.99
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • Fluffy powder brush is great, but there are cheaper options that are just as good
    • Glow brush is flimsy AF and I see no use for it. I trashed it
  • Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Monaco, $20
    • Cruelty free
    • Vegan
    • Like I said above, I love the formula, but this color is a NOPE
    • Giving to my friend
  • Appeal Cosmetics Liquid Eye Shadow in Gold, $21
    • Cruelty free status is unknown
    • Super pigmented and foiled/metallic
    • Have a similar product/shade so this is going to my friend!

Total Value–$149.99

I’ve gotten $380.99 worth of products for $63. Not a bad deal!

  1. […] I want–length, volume, separation, and no flaking or smudging. I got the full size in my February Boxycharm, but I prefer and recommend the mini. The full size tends to dry out before I can use it up. If […]
