I’m so sad that 21 Days of Beauty is over, but I’m already looking forward to the fall sale.
I LOVE this event because it gives me a chance to stock up on some must haves and try some more expensive products at a cheaper price.
I think I practiced some serious self-control and only purchased 5 things. SHOCKING, I know.
Keeping reading to see what I picked up and my thoughts on the products.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
–Love the loose version of this, but it’s SO messy
–This powder if very finely milled and a great all over setting powder
–Good to use all over or just under the eyes
–Don’t know that it makes my pores go undetected or blurs them, but it does give an all over smooth appearance
Dose of Colors Eyedeal Duo in Shell
–I thought this was going to be more of a champagne shade, but it’s straight up rose gold
–The pigment is quite messy and VERY glittery
–I haven’t played with this too much, but I may end up returning it
Buxom Full On Lip Cream in Dolly
–I’m usually not a lip gloss fan, but my friend Zelle has raved about these so I decided to grab one while they were half off.
–She recommended Dolly and it is the most perfect neutral shade for every day
–I was super hesitant because it claims to be plumping, but the tingle is minimal and I don’t mind it.
–I wish I had bought more shades while they were $10
Becca First Light Priming Filter
–I got a sample of this as a 100 point perk and I really liked how it made my skin feel.
–It’s a lightweight, hydrating primer that works well for my dry skin.
–I wouldn’t have purchased it if it hadn’t been on sale though. I don’t love it $38 worth, but for $19, I’m in.
MAC Fix+
–This product is just an every day staple for me.
–I ALWAYS have a back up of this. I keep one bottle on my vanity to use and another in my drawer for when I run out.
–It was a no brainer to pick this up while it was half off.
