I’m back on my blogging game with a new name and new look.
I will mainly be focusing on beauty on this blog. I still love fashion and you will still see it on my Instagram. However, I’m a single gal and it’s hard to shoot content when it’s just me. I’m not really a plan 5 outfits to shoot kinda gal. I actually wear the outfits I share in real life so planning ahead doesn’t work for me.
I walked away from L&L because I was starting to lose focus of my WHY. My WHY was to show that you can look like a million bucks without breaking the bank. Even as a microscopic blogger, the pressure and comparison will get to you. Blogging is getting out of control. I feel like so many people are killing themselves for likes, to have a bigger, better item, to get a high paying collab, and push their affiliate links. It’s too much. I also feel like so many bloggers that I have followed for years just aren’t who they used to be. Where are the genuine folks? (I do still love and follow people that are genuine, just making a broad statement there.) Then there’s the tech parts–SEO, hosting, algorithms, and other words that I don’t know how to spell or define. I missed the fun so I decided to stop.
I LOVE anything of or related to beauty–makeup, skincare, nail polish, and everything in between. That’s what this blog will focus on, my LOVE and passion for all things pretty. I did buy my domain name, but there will be no other fanciness here. No professional designs, hosting, etc. This is purely a place for FUN. If I get busy and don’t get a post up, oh well. I’m not going to let this blog cause any stress or strife. Life is too short to not have fun.
