Guess who’s back

…back again. Couldn’t resist that, y’all.

I’m back on my blogging game with a new name and new look.

I will mainly be focusing on beauty on this blog. I still love fashion and you will still see it on my Instagram. However, I’m a single gal and it’s hard to shoot content when it’s just me. I’m not really a plan 5 outfits to shoot kinda gal. I actually wear the outfits I share in real life so planning ahead doesn’t work for me.

I walked away from L&L because I was starting to lose focus of my WHY. My WHY was to show that you can look like a million bucks without breaking the bank. Even as a microscopic blogger, the pressure and comparison will get to you. Blogging is getting out of control. I feel like so many people are killing themselves for likes, to have a bigger, better item, to get a high paying collab, and push their affiliate links. It’s too much. I also feel like so many bloggers that I have followed for years just aren’t who they used to be. Where are the genuine folks? (I do still love and follow people that are genuine, just making a broad statement there.) Then there’s the tech parts–SEO, hosting, algorithms, and other words that I don’t know how to spell or define. I missed the fun so I decided to stop.

I LOVE anything of or related to beauty–makeup, skincare, nail polish, and everything in between. That’s what this blog will focus on, my LOVE and passion for all things pretty. I did buy my domain name, but there will be no other fanciness here. No professional designs, hosting, etc. This is purely a place for FUN. If I get busy and don’t get a post up, oh well. I’m not going to let this blog cause any stress or strife. Life is too short to not have fun.

If you’re new, welcome! If you’re coming back, welcome back!

I hope y’all had a great holiday and are ready for a New Year!

P.S. I don’t mean those things ^ about all bloggers, obvi. That’s my opinion and you are welcome to form your own.

  1. I’m happy to see you back blogging, Hannah! I also stopped sometime last year, around the time you did. I wasn’t having fun anymore. I never grew my blog to be big, and heck I don’t even know anything about the tech parts of it! I’ll be looking forward to all your new post, I love the new name and look too!

    1. Thanks so much! I’m glad to be back with a fresh mindset. I never wanted to be the next big blogger either, but the pressure was still there. Not anymore!

  2. Glad to have you back! I always loved your content. I completely understand where you are coming from and I am struggling to find a way to grow without falling into that herd. I feel being genuine is so much more important. And I just read your last L&L post and I feel the same way after everything I lived through and I am still finding my inspiration now that I am back home. Continue being great Hannah!

    1. Thank you! Your words mean so much to me. I feel like being genuine for so many is a thing of the past and I’m making it a point to keep that are the forefront from here on out. I’m so glad you back and following along 🙂
